Dhaka University Research Society (DURS) is excited to announce 'Internship opportunities' for two of its most active and essential sectors:
- IT & Operations
- Graphic Design
We are looking for dedicated, creative, and responsible individuals to join our team as interns and work closely on DURS’s operational and event-based activities. This is your chance to gain real-world experience and grow with a vibrant and intellectually driven community!
🔹Position: IT Intern
Number of Vacancies: 06
Duration: 6 Months
Work Type: Voluntary (Remote & Flexible Task-Based Work)
Location: Primarily Online | Occasionally at the University of Dhaka
# Key Requirements:
- Current student at any session or department of any university of Bangladesh;
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Emailing, and Google Workspace;
- Familiarity with video editing tools; (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.);
- Knowledge in basic website development & content management (e.g., WordPress, Wix, HTML/CSS);
- Basic skills in photography, videography, and documentation;
- Must be able to meet deadlines and collaborate in a team setting;
- Passionate about volunteering and committed to DURS’s mission (If you have at least two or three specific IT skills mentioned above, you may apply for the position.)
# Primary Responsibilities of an IT intern:
- Assist in data sorting, report generation & digital documentation;
- Provide video editing & photography support for DURS programs and workshops;
- Manage email communications, online file systems & event registrations; Support website maintenance and digital tools for DURS operations.
(Interns' tasks will be distributed according to their skill set)
🔹 Position: Graphic Design Intern
Number of Vacancies: 06
Duration: 6 Months
Work Type: Voluntary (Remote & Flexible Task-Based Work)
Location: Primarily Online | Occasionally at the University of Dhaka
#Key Requirements:
- Current student at any session or department of any University in Bangladesh;
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Illustrator (Photoshop & Figma is a bonus);
- Understanding of professional design principles and aesthetics;
- Ability to design certificates, posters, banners, and social media graphics;
- Creative mindset and strong attention to visual detail;
- Must meet deadlines and respond to design requests efficiently.
# Primary Responsibilities:
- Design event promotional materials including posters, digital banners, certificates;
- Collaborate with event teams to visualize themes and ideas;
- Create brand-consistent graphics for DURS's social media platforms;
- Contribute to major event branding and decoration efforts.
(Interns' tasks will be distributed according to their skill set)
